Raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to 14 amino acids in the middle of the avian influenza hemagglutinin protein. Efforts were made to use relatively conserved regions of the viral sequence as the antigen.

Can be stored at -20˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
