Nr2c1 is an orphan nuclear receptor. Nr2c1 represses transcription and binds DNA as a homodimer. Nr2c1 binds the IR7 element in the promoter of its own gene in an autoregulatory negative feedback mechanism.

If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
