- Anti-Fade Mounting Medium is a glycerol-based mounting medium which can be used in combinantion with an anti-fluorescence quenching reagent. It can be used to seal tissue or cell slides for fluorescence-related applications. After mounting, slides can be observed for several weeks without drying out or requiring sealing. This medium can help prolong fluorescence and maximise fluoresence intensity, and assist with antigen-antibody binding. This medium is compatible with a wide range of fluorophores and fluorescent proteins, such as blue fluorescent protein, FITC, Cy2, Cy3, Cy5, Cy7, DAPI, rhodamine, Texas Red, AMCA, R6G, Hoechst 33258, AF, and more. This medium does not contain DAPI or PI.
