Phospho-Caldesmon (Ser789) Antibody detects endogenous levels of Caldesmon only when phosphorylated at Serine 789. This gene encodes a calmodulin- and actin-binding protein that plays an essential role in the regulation of smooth muscle and nonmuscle contraction.
