产品描述: Stat1 (Signal transducer and activator of transcription) is activated principally by interferons via phosphorylation of Tyr701 by two Janus family protein tyrosine kinases, JAK1 and JAK2 (1,2). Activation of Stat1 by Tyr701 phosphorylation induces Stat1 dimerization, nuclear translocation, and DNA binding (1–3). Transcriptional activation also appears to be regulated by serine phosphorylation (Ser727) probably via MAP-like kinases (4,5) (figure 1). As phosphorylation of Stat1 at Tyr701 is essential for dimerization and DNA binding, phosphorylation at this site is an excellent marker of Stat1 activity (1–3). The Stat1 Antibody Kit provides reagents and protocols for the rapid analysis of Stat1 phosphorylation. The kit includes a phospho-antibody that recognizes Stat1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr701, a control Stat1 antibody (phosphorylation-state independent), control cell extracts, protein markers for Western blots and the HRP Western Detection System.Both phospho-and control Stat1 antibodies react with Stat1 by Western blottingand Phospho-Stat1 Antibody reacts with Stat1 by immunocytochemistry.
