该PMS2 Monoclonal Antibody. PMS2 is a mismatch repair protein with molecular weight of 96 kDa. PMS2 protein forms heterodimer with MLH1 protein, which is activated by ATP. The complex coordinates the binding of other proteins, which repair DNA errors during cell division. Loss of PMS2 expression in tumor cells is helpful to identify hMLH1 mutation vectors and determine whether they are suitable for mutation analysis. PMS2 gene deficiency is the cause of a small but significant proportion of colorectal cancer and most tumors with microsatellite instability. PMS2 is associated with cases of dominant hereditary disease hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer (HNPCC), and is more clearly associated with variant hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer, known as Turcot syndrome. PMS2 is usually used in tumor research with MLH1, MSH2 and MSH6.
