背景资料: The giant protein titin, together with its associatednproteins, interconnects the major structure of sarcomeres, the Mnbands and Z discs. The C-terminal end of the titin string extendsninto the M line, where it binds tightly to M-band constituents ofnapparent molecular masses of 190 kD (myomesin 1) and 165 kDn(myomesin 2). This protein, myomesin 1, like myomesin 2, titin, andnother myofibrillar proteins contains structural modules with strongnhomology to either fibronectin type III (motif I) or immunoglobulinnC2 (motif II) domains. Myomesin 1 and myomesin 2 each have a uniquenN-terminal region followed by 12 modules of motif I or motif II, innthe arrangement II-II-I-I-I-I-I-II-II-II-II-II. The two proteinsnshare 50% sequence identity in this repeat-containing region. Thenhead structure formed by these 2 proteins on one end of the titinnstring extends into the center of the M band. The integratingnstructure of the sarcomere arises from muscle-specific members ofnthe superfamily of immunoglobulin-like proteins. Alternativelynspliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have beennidentified.

免疫原: This MYOM1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 904-933 amino acids from the Central region of human MYOM1.

保存建议: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
