Members of this nascent protein family arencharacterized by common structural features and similar intron/exonnsplice boundaries and display unique expression patterns amongnhematopoietic cells and nonlymphoid tissues. Alternative splicingnof this gene results in several transcript variants; however, notnall transcripts have been fully described.
