These ectoenzymes possess ATPase and ATPnpyrophosphatase activities and are type II transmembrane proteins.nExpression of the related rat mRNA has been found in a subset ofnimmature glial cells and in the alimentary tract. The correspondingnrat protein has been detected in the pancreas, small intestine,ncolon, and liver. The human mRNA is expressed in glioma cells,nprostate, and uterus.
