NMYC interactor (NMI) encodes a protein that interactsnwith NMYC and CMYC (two members of the oncogene Myc family), andnother transcription factors containing a Zip, HLH, or HLH-Zipnmotif. The NMI protein also interacts with all STATs except STAT2nand augments STAT-mediated transcription in response to cytokinesnIL2 and IFN-gamma.
