This gene encodes a transmembrane protein localized to thenplasma membrane and perinuclear vesicular structures. The genenproduct interacts with the angiotensin II type I receptor andnnegatively regulates angiotensin II signaling. Alternative splicingnof this gene generates multiple transcript variants encodingndifferent isoforms.
