The encoded protein is found in thennucleus, where it colocalizes with core spliceosomal proteins.nStudies of a mouse protein with high sequence similarity to thisnprotein suggest that this protein may act as a transcriptionalncoactivator for JUN/AP-1 and estrogen receptors. Multiplentranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been observednfor this gene.
