This gene encodes a high-affinity dickkopf homolog 1n(DKK1) transmembrane receptor that functionally cooperates withnDKK1 to block wingless (WNT)/beta-catenin signaling. The encodednprotein forms a ternary membrane complex with DKK1 and the WNTnreceptor lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP6), and inducesnrapid endocytosis and removal of LRP6 from the plasma membrane. Itncontains extracellular kringle, WSC, and CUB domains. Alternativelynspliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have beennobserved for this gene.
