Ras-related protein Rab-9A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RAB9Agene. Rab 9A is a 201 amino acid protein that localizes to the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane, as well as to the membrane of the Golgi apparatus and the ER, and is involved in the transport of proteins between endosomes and the trans Golgi network.
