Amine-functionalized microspheres provide surface amine groups capable of covalent attachment of biomolecules. Glutaraldehyde is commonly used for the crosslinking another amine-containing compound. For thiols or carbohydrates, specialized linkers are available for targeted covalent attachment.nAmine polymer microspheres are available in diameters from ~200 nm to 1.0 µm. The products are ~10% solid (w/w) aqueous suspensions provided in 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 5.0 g amounts.
