The Protein Quantification Kit provides a simple and rapid procedure for determining the concentration of protein in solution. The method utilizes an improved Coomassie Blue G reagent which forms a blue complex in the presence of protein. The intensity of the blue complex is proportional to the amount of protein in the sample and can be easily measured by spectrophotometer or plate reader at 595nm.Kit Components:Protein Assay Solution (5X) 1x20mlProtein *Standard (1mg/ml) 1x1.5ml.Storage and Stability:The Protein Assay Solution can be stored at either 4°C or -20°C, protect from light. The*Standard should be aliquoted after the first thaw and stored at -20°C. Stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
