- Lectin Screening Kit C, BioAssay (FITC) is designed to provide the investigator with a panel of six lectins or lectin conjugates. The lectins have been selected to offer a variety of sugar specificities and are of the same high quality as the reagents offered individually.Each Kit consists of 500ug of the following lectin conjugates: DSL, ECL, GSL II, Jacalin, LEL, STL, VVL.Fluorescein LectinF/P*GSL II3.1DSL2.1 ECL2.5Jacalin2.2LEL2.6STL2.9VVA4.4* F/P = moles of Fluorescein/mole LectinValues may vary from lot to lot. Excitation Wavelength:495nm Emission Wavelength:515nmRecommended Dilution:The recommended concentration range for use is 5-20ug/ml. Abbreviations:GSL II: Griffonia (Bandeiraea) simplicifolia; DSL: Datura Stramonium; ECL: Erythrina cristagalli; LEL: Lycopersicon esculentum (tomato); STL: Solanum tuberosum (potato); VVA: Vicia villosa agglutininStorage and Stability:Stable for 6 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: A precipitate may form during storage. This does not have a significant adverse effect on the product. If a precipitate forms upon long-term storage, warm to 37°C and centrifuge before use.
