MB 680R Azide is a rhodamine-based dye with a terminal azide group. The MB 680R fluorescent molecule is water-soluble and is pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. The rhodamine dye is very bright and exceptionally photostable that maximally excitates at 685 nm and emits at 708 nm. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage and as an azide-copper complex, the reaction works well under diluted conditions.
