PLGA(2k)-PEG(1k)-IA is a nanomicellar-forming block copolymer which can be used for formulation and delivery of biopharmaceutical drugs. The hydrophobic property of the poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) enables encapsulation and congregation of other hydrophobic drugs. The iodoacetyl end group can react with thiol (SH) via formation of thioether bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
