AF430 is a dye that is structurally identical to Alexa Fluor® 430. The fluorophore is hydrophilic. It is used in flow cytometry and other applications. The NHS ester functional group allows the conjugation of the fluorophore efficiently with primary and secondary amine groups in both aqueous buffers and anhydrous conditions.
