Protein transport. Involved in the redistribution of lysosomes to the peri-Golgi region (By similarity). Plays a role in the maturation of phagosomes that engulf pathogens, such as S.aureus and M.tuberculosis. Plays a role in the fusion of phagosomes with lysosomes.
