Dimethyltryptamine （DMT） is a natural hallucinogen that targets， primarily， the 5-hydroxytryptamine （5-HT） receptors. 4-methoxy DMT is a substituted form of DMT that binds 5-HT receptors with comparable affinity （pA2 = 6.17 for 4-methoxy DMT versus 6.00 for DMT）. 4-methoxy DMT also has behavior disruption activity in rats that is similar to that of DMT. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
