MIP-2 （macrophage inflammatory protein-2） is a 69-amino acid CC chemokine originally cloned from LPS-stimulated rat lung. MIP-2 is induced during acute inflammation in rat models of diseases. It is a potent neutrophil chemotactic factor both in vitro and in vivo.

Western blot analysis （0.5-4 ug/ml）， immunoprecipitation （4-8 ug/ml）， and neutralization. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
