CNTF （Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor） is a potent neural factor that was originally characterized as a survivability factor for chick ciliary neurons in vitro. CNTF has also been shown to promote survivability and differentiation of other neuronal cell types. CNTF is a 22.9 kDa protein containing 200 amino acid residues.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant human CNTF （Cat.# 4017-20） can be used as a positive control.
