The T7-tag is an 11 amino acid sequence encoded in the leader sequence of T7 bacteriophage gene10. T7 is used in many expression vectors including the pET system. Hence，the anti-T7-tag antibody is useful for studying expression of recombinant T7-tagged proteins.

The antibody can be used for Western blot analysis （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
