V5-tag is a 14 amino acid peptide derived from the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 （SV5）. The V5-tagged protein expression system is preferably used in various laboratories. Hence，the anti-V5-Tag antibody is a useful tool for monitoring of the V5-tagged protein.

The antibody can be used for Western blot analysis （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually.
