-Amylase is an enzyme that is normally produced in the saliva glands and pancreas in humans and in other mammals. -Amylase catalyzes the cleavage of 1，4--D-glucosidic bonds of large sugar molecules into oligosaccharides and polysaccharides.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes ~58 kDa -Amylase in samples from human， mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
