Influenza A viruses are surface glycoprotein，single stranded，segmented RNA viruses that are found in birds. Influenza A subtypes are based on the virus glycoproteins hemagglutininn（HA） and neuraminidase （NA）. There are 16 different HA antigens and nine different N antigens for influenza A virus that have been isolated from wild birds.

Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes ~28 kDa HA in samples from human， mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
