Lipin 2 is a nuclear protein that belongs to the evolutionarily conserved Lipin family. Studies show that a mutation to human Lipin 2 is linked to autosomal dominant high grade myopia and Majeed syndrome.
应用类型
Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. It detects a band between 70-100 kDa， corresponding to the molecular mass of Lipin-2. A lower band ~55 kDa can also be detected， presumably to be the cleavage fragment of Lipin-2.
