Myeloperoxidase （MPO） is highly expressed in neutrophils and polymorphonuclear luekocytes. MPO is expressed as a dimer in regular neutrophils with a 140kDA. The glycoslated form of MPO has a molecular weight of 92kDa and when undergoes a final glycoslyation，MPO forms subunits of 60kDa and 12kDa. In recent studies，MPO was shown to be involved in the initiation and progression of cardiovascular disease.
应用类型
Western blotting （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes 60-100 kDa MPO from samples of human， mouse， and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
