- A cell-permeable, 4-thiazolyl-2-phenylaminopyrimidine compound that acts as a potent, reversible, and ATP-competitive inhibitor of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) (Ki=9nM). Exhibits excellent selectivity over Cdk2 (Ki=3.33uM), ROCK (Ki=2.3uM), Src (Ki=3.33uM), and ZAP70 (Ki=240nM). Shown to inhibit mast cell degranulation (IC50=70nM) that is commonly observed in asthma and other allergic diseases.Formula:C20H23N5O2SMolecular Weight:397.5Solubility:DMSO (50mg/ml, pale yellow solution)Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
