- A cocktail of four protease inhibitors for the inhibition of serine and cysteine proteases, but not metalloproteases. Each vial, when reconstituted with 1ml H2O, will yield a 100X stock solution. When diluted to 1X the cocktail contains 500uM AEBSF, HCl, 150nM Aprotinin, 1uM E-64, and 1uM Leupeptin Hemisulfate. Available as 1ml or as 1set of 10x1ml.Kit Components:AEBSF, Hydrochloride: Molecular weight: 239.5, 1X500uM. Target Protease: Serine ProteasesAprotinin, Recombinant, Bovine, Nicotiana sp., Animal-free: 1X150nM. Target Protease: Broad Sprectrum, Serine ProteasesE-64 Protease Inhibitor: Molecular weight: 357.4, 1X1uM. Target Protease: Cysteine ProteasesLeupeptin, Hemisulfate: Molecular weight: 475.6, 1X1uM. Target Protease: Cysteine Proteases and Trypsin-like ProteasesStorage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
