- A potent competitive antagonist highly selective for GluA1, GluA3, and GluA1/A2 subtype AMPA receptors (Ki = 0.168 and 1.6uM for GluA1 and GluA1/A2, respectively). Negligible effect at GluA2 and GluA2/A3 subtype AMPA receptors. Used in studies of circadian rhythm, addition, and sleep.Formula:C24H42N4O3•2HClSolubility:H2OPrimary Target:AMPAPrimary Target Ki:0.168 and 1.6 →M for GluA1 and GluA1/A2, respectivelyStorage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
