产品描述: Methysticin has been identified from kava to have potent NF-kB inhibitory activity and minimum toxicity. It is shown to inhibit NF-kB (IC50 = 0.19ug/ml) 100 times more potently than traditional kava in A549 cells in an in vitro luciferase-based assay. It is also reported to suppress the elevation of IKKalpha, p65, and COX-2 and the degradation of IkBalpha in A549 cultures stimulated with TNF-alpha; through Western Blot analysis.Formula:C15H14O5Solubility:DMSOMolar Mass:274.27Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
