产品描述

This gene encodes the peroxisomal enzyme mevalonate kinase. Mevalonate is a key intermediate, and mevalonate kinase a key early enzyme, in isoprenoid and sterol synthesis. Mevalonate kinase deficiency caused by mutation of this gene results in mevalonic aciduria, a disease characterized psychomotor retardation, failure to thrive, hepatosplenomegaly, anemia and recurrent febrile crises. Defects in this gene also cause hyperimmunoglobulinaemia D and periodic fever syndrome, a disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of fever associated with lymphadenopathy, arthralgia, gastrointestinal dismay and skin rash. Two transcript variants that encode the same protein have been found for this gene. Intended Use:This BioAssay™ IP-WB antibody pair set comes with one antibody for immunoprecipitation and another to detect the precipitated protein in western blot.Specificity:Recognizes human. Kit Components:1. Antibody pair for IP: rabbit polyclonal anti-MVK (300ul)
2. Antibody pair for WB: mouse purified polyclonal anti-MVK (50ug)Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.Storage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
