产品描述: Potent stimulator of natural killer T (NKT) cells expressing the invariant Valpha19-Jalpha26 T cell receptor alpha chain (Valpha19 NKT cells). Natural killer T cells (NKT cells) are important regulators of the immune system. They share properties of both innate as well as adaptive immunity. They express T cell receptors (TCR) on their surface consisting of an invariable alpha-chain and a somewhat variable beta-chain. The majority of NKT cells express the invariable alpha-chain Valpha14-Jalpha18 (Valpha14) in mouse or its homolog in humans Valpha24-Jalpha18 (Va24). Valpha14 NKT cells recognize alpha-GalCer presented by CD1d. NKT cells expressing the invariant Valpha19-Jalpha26 TCR alpha-chain (Valpha19 NKT cells) have been found in peripheral blood lymphocytes and in the liver. They recognize alpha-ManCer presented by MR1 (Major histocompatibility complex, class I-related) and respond with production of large amounts of immunoregulatory cytokines.Formula:C50H99NO9 Solubility:pyridine or warm DMSOMolecular Weight:~858.3Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
