Antibiotic. Exhibits similar activity as concanamycin A and concanamycin C. Specific vacuolar-type H+-ATPase inhibitor. Inhibitor of autophagic degradation by rising lysosomal pH and thus inactivating the lysosomal acid hydrolases. Suppresses bone resorption. Inhibits proliferation of mouse splenic lymphocytes.
