Membrane associated guanylate kinases (MAGUKs) form a family of scaffolding proteins, which are often associated with cellular junctions. Their capacity to serve as platforms for organizing larger protein assemblies results from the presence of several protein-protein interaction domains. PDZ-domain containing proteins of the MAGUK family target, anchor and cluster receptors and channels to subcellular sites.
MAGUK Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a fusion protein corresponding to an internal region of human PSD95/Sap90.
