Cell-permeable. A derivative of Staurosporine that inhibits a variety of serine/threonine and tyrosine kinases including protein kinase C (PKC) IC50 = 50nM), cyclic AMP- dependent protein kinase (PKA) (IC50 = 2.4um), S6 kinase (IC50 = 5um), and EGFR (IC50 = 3um). PKC412 reverses the efflux function of the multidrug resistance (MDR)-1 gene product, P-glycoprotein (P-gp).Solubility:DSMO (~10mg/ml)Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
