- Follistatin-related gene protein (FLRG) has been shown to bind and inhibit the TGF-beta family ligands including activin, BMP-2, -6, -7, and GDF-8. FLRG is expressed most highly in heart, lung, kidney, and placenta, and is upregulated by TGF-beta and Activin via Smad proteins.Sample Type:Cell culture supernates and urineIntended Use:This BioAssay DuoSet ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and recombinant human Follistatin-Related Gene Protein (FLRG). This DuoSet is designed for the analysis of cell culture supernates and urine.Range:~15.6-1000pg/mlSpecificity:Recognizes natural and recombinant human Follistatin-related Gene Protein/FLRG.Kit Components:Mouse anti-human FLRG capture antibody, 1x vialBiotinylated mouse anti-human FLRG detection antibody, 1x vialRecombinant human FLRG standard, 1x 3vialsStreptavidin-HRP, 1x vialStorage and Stability:Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
