Biotinylated histone H4 peptide asymmetrically di-methylated at Arginine 3 is a positive control for protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMT).Application:Study enzyme kinetics, and screen small molecular inhibitors of PRMT for drug discovery and HTS applications. Other applications not tested.Concentration: 500ul @ 200uMStorage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
