Peptide substrate for Histone 3 (K4,K9) methyltransferases. The peptide corresponds to residues 1-21 of histone H3. Application:Suitable for use in the study enzyme kinetics, and screen small molecular inhibitors of Histone 3 (K4,K9) methyltransferases for drug discovery and HTS applications. Other applications not tested.Concentration: 200ul @ 400uMStorage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months.
