LTF-2单克隆抗体可与钥孔血蓝蛋白（KLH）发生反应。由于KLH并非由哺乳动物表达，因此该抗体非常适合用作大鼠IgG2b抗体的同型匹配对照抗体，适用于大多数体内和体外应用。
